Dear Science Educator,

Join us for Cell Day 2013! Your students can ask questions about cell biology and research careers anytime between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. ET on Friday, Nov. 1, and get answers from scientists at the National Institute of General Medical Sciences, part of the National Institutes of Health. The transcript of the event will be available online the following week.

You can sign up for Cell Day, find classroom resources, and read the 2012 Cell Day transcript athttp://www.nigms.nih.gov/cellday.

Last year, Cell Day fielded questions from students (mostly 5th through 12th graders) that ranged from “Which living organism has the most cells?” to “What led you into a career in cellular biology?”

We hope Cell Day will be a fun and interesting addition to your curriculum. Feel free to contact me if you have any questions.

Best,

Shelly
