HISPANIC LEADERSHIP ALLIANCE SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM PACKET 2013-2014
The Hispanic Leadership Alliance FCPS, Inc. (HLA) is a non-profit organization of Fairfax County Public School employees and residents established in 1997, whose mission is to promote an understanding of Hispanic culture, empower parents with educational information, provide leadership training and opportunities to its members and encourage student participation in advanced academic programs, leadership activities, and school completion.
The Hispanic Leadership Alliance has established a scholarship program for first generation Hispanic students* of Fairfax County Public Schools in pursuit of a post high school education. HLA will be awarding six $1,000.00 scholarships this year.
